We pride ourselves on offering you a service second to none and aim to dispatch your order quickly and efficiently the same day we receive it!
All orders are dispatched the same working day subject to stock availability. All delivery services are subject to stock availability and orders being received before 1pm Monday to Friday (as long as this is a working day). Orders placed after 1pm Monday to Friday and orders placed over Weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched the next working day. All orders are delivered by the relevant courier Monday to Friday as long as this is a working day.
Our website is not real-time compliant so sometimes items may be Out Of Stock! The website is updated every day so if you are not sure of the availability of an item please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We only ship orders to UK addresses. If we cannot supply any of your order we will notify you via e-mail. If we can only supply part of your order we will dispatch the product(s) that are available and you will be notified of this when you receive your order. Please note that if a product(s) is Out Of Stock you will be refunded immediately for the missing product(s).
You do have the option of informing us Not To Send your order if an item is Out Of Stock. You can do this by telling us in the Additional Comments Box when you place your order. When using our First Class 1-2 Day Delivery Service, Second Class 3-4 Day Delivery Service or our Courier Service, the Additional Comments Box can be used to tell us if you would like to have your order dropped off in a Safe Place. This is very useful if you are going to be out when your order is delivered. A safe place can be your shed, porch, garage or with a neighbour or other Safe Place. If you are out when your order is delivered and you have not stated a Safe Place, your order will be taken to your local Royal Mail Sorting Office. A card will be left to tell you how to arrange delivery or collection.
Our First Class 1-2 Day & and Second Class 3-4 Day Delivery Service
These services have a maximum weight limit of 20kg. If your order weight is more than this, or if the goods you have ordered are over 61cm in length, your order will then be dispatched using our Courier Service and delivery times will be 3-4 working days. Please note if your order includes an item over 61cm in length, it and anything else you order will be sent via our Courier Service.
Our Free Delivery Service
We also offer a Free Delivery Service for orders over £25 to customers within a 5 mile radius of our shop in Takeley Essex. Our website will work out if you qualify for free delivery when you enter your postcode. Please note that we only deliver on a Thursday between 3pm & 7pm. If you are having problems tracing your order please e-mail us at at email@example.com. with your name, address, postcode, telephone number, date of your order and your order reference number. This number can be found on the top of your invoice that is e-mailed to you when you place your order so we can investigate.
Please be aware if Royal Mail or our Courier Service has industrial action there will be a backlog of post and delivery can take longer. Please note that we do not accept responsibility for late delivery caused by industrial action. Please allow plenty of time for delivery. Please note that once an order has been dispatched it becomes the property and responsibility of either Royal Mail or our Courier Service to be delivered, not Pets Local. All items purchased from the Pets Local website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to our carriers, Royal Mail or Courier Service.
